Competitions: Jested Cup 2001

Some have it, some don't.
You could sum-up our trying to fly as many courses as possible like that in the bad conditions we had. The forecast was promising - nice and sunny but it had one slight inconvenience - no wind. We were lucky that thanks to southern flow we ended up at Little Zaskali where there's enough thermal up-currents when the weather is warm. Therefore, the substitute competition had to take place, nevertheless, all present people had a good time and enjoyed it. Each flight was accompanied by 'friendly advice' how to fly the best course and chuck-up's from other pilots.
Our performance varied and depended on the actual situation of the thermal lifts. But during the last rounds they started to be high and even. But even 15 courses turned up to be zero points due to the respective pilot not landing his plane inside the designated area..
Of course, frankfurters were not missing and the fireplace did not serve as place to warm or dry yourself as in the past years.
Plenty of time was left after the competition for flying in calm warm afternoon air. The weather finally turned out after three years and the the Jested Cup took place at least in this alternate form.
We hope that everybody was satisfied and left with a good feeling that they spent a nice October Saturday on the slope, just like we did. Well, that's about it from this year's last F3F competition.
The text could have been accompanied by photos but all of them were taken before the actual competition started. Unfortunately we are haunted by periodic problems with arranging a camera (...working camera, low batteries and all that kind of crap...)

Pomineme-li ten jasný defekt v estetickém cítění pilota, můžeme pozorovat jak si poradí s nahrazením kabiny, která se válí doma na stole.

Než obíhat jednotlivé piloty a shánět data (potřebná k soutěži), piloti vyplňovali jednoduchý formulářek. A prý na druhé straně chyběly vysvětlivky.
