Gliding in Liberec
On Saturday and Sunday organized flying takes place when you can count up to 14 planes up in the sky (some of them are the same type - gets very interesting sometimes). This can be shocking for someone that's not used it but it is an experience.
There are several possibilities of entertainment for those that come with their family members. The cheapest one is to buy a few frankfurters, some snacks and something to drink and make a fire for roasting - there's enough wood all around. (We will build a monument of appreciation for those that manage to set "The Pines" on fire and completely burn them down. (We will additionaly organize a gathering for them to pay the fine). In between individual flights you can take care of your family duties - the boring ones like blueberry, strawberry and blackberry collecting, searching for mushrooms; or the more exciting ones like looking for wood ticks on your girlfriends (wife's) body, without an audience of course.
The second possibility is to send your family on a sightseeing trip to either the Sychrov Chateau or they can take the cable car up to Jested mountain. In the city of Liberec alone there are several attractions that they can enjoy and a lot of places to visit - the famous ZOO and Botanical Garden, the pool with its attractions or the city inside a city - Babylon (shopping mall). You will, however, have to lend your family your credit card in this case and it is up to you to consider if it is worth it. (Of course it is!).
The whole Javornik area is a part of the Jested Natural Park so there are certain restrictions regarding access to some areas, only sail planes or electro-sail planes are permitted! If you really want to enjoy great flying in a beautiful nature atmosphere, come and visit us! All parking places, except for one, are unofficial, that is why it is essential for everybody to be environment friendly and keep these places neat and clean. Don't litter and preserve the nature!!!
